As a member of the River Arts Alliance, I am excited to share and invite you to this year’s Member Exhibit and Showcase. In order to continue to offer us members an opportunity to showcase our work while respecting social distancing and COVID concerns, the 2021 River Arts Alliance Member Exhibit and Showcase has gone online.
The exhibit, which has in the past been held at the Blue Heron Coffeehouse and Watkins Gallery in Winona, Minn., has only allowed visual artists the opportunity to showcase one work of art. In the new format, all members are able to present their art—writers, musicians, filmmakers, and dancers join our visual artists. Members are also able to present up to three pieces representative of their work.
I invite you to grab your favorite beverage, get comfy and take a stroll through the virtual 2021 RAA Member Exhibit and Showcase. In addition to all of the beautiful artworks showcased in this virtual exhibit, you’ll find Nicklay Art Studio—the art of Christie Nicklay—on page 52.
